Spartan Sage came into fruition in 2010. My husband and I have always been into natural products and foods for the past 10 years.
I worked with Natural Selection Promotions for 3 years and really got interested in some of the new natural products that were being created.
We live in a society that indulges in to much unhealthy eating and depend too much on man made, man created products which contain so many additives.
How many times have you looked at a product label and could not pronounce at least half of the ingredients or even knew what they were.
My husband and I have always been interested in natural herbs and leaning new ways to utilize their healing benefits.
We came up first with Spartan Sage Balm because I could never find a lip balm that actually worked.
We realized that white sage contains so much healing power, not only spiritually but physically as well. We knew that this would be a very good
antiseptic along with mugwort, so our first product was born. We carefully blend the right balance of herbs using a cold press process.
No heat is used in the extraction of the oils so not to lose any healthy benefits of the plant. This is a very long process so the batches usually take up to one month to create.
We only use 100% natural ingredients, no perfumes or additional additives.
Our first introduction of our finished product got such good reviews we were ecstatic at the response.
We were told that some of our customers were using the balm on their hands and cuticles with very good results and were asked if we make a lotion.
So our newest addition, lotion, will be due out sometime this year. Please take the time read "Our Mission" link and see what people are saying about
Spartan Sage Balm.
Also, we support many non-profits. We support animal rescues and have been sending a percentage of the sale of our products to no kill shelters.
Also we are supporters of national parks and the Kumeyaay tribes in San Diego. Please take the time to click the link to the California Indian Education link on the side page.
You will find a lot of information that is very informative on the Kumeyaay of San Diego.
